Creating a SharePoint REST Connection

To create a SharePoint REST Connection:

    Procedure
  1. Expand the created project in the Project Explorer view.
  2. Right-click the Resources folder and click New > SharePoint REST Connection to open the SharePoint Rest Connection wizard.
  3. The resource folder, package name, and resource name of the SharePoint Rest connection are provided by default. If you do not want to use the default configurations, change them accordingly. Click Finish to open the SharePoint Rest Connection Editor.

  4. Configure the SharePoint REST connection in the SharePoint REST Connection Editor.

  5. Click Test SharePoint REST Connection to test whether the specified configuration fields result in a valid connection to the Microsoft SharePoint server using the runtime and design-time credentials.
