Creating an EMS Connection

To use this connector, you must configure anEMS client connection. The EMS connection is used by all the activities in the EMS category. The EMS connection contains the parameters required to connect to EMS.

Before you beginBefore you create a connection, familiarize yourself with EMS. For details about how to use EMS, see the EMS documentation.
Note:

You must provide the EMS lib file path as LD_LIBRARY_PATH while running the application binary.

Example: export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/tibco/ems/10.2/lib

    Procedure
  1. On the global navigation bar, click the Connections tab and perform one of the following actions:
    To add a connection for the first time, click the Create connection link and then select the EMS card. You can search a connector card by typing the connector name in the search field.
    To create subsequent connections, click the Create button.
  2. In the EMS dialog, enter the connection details. For field descriptions, see the EMS Connection Details topic.
  3. Click Save Connection.
