Slack Connector Connection Details

You can use the Slack Connector window to provide more information of the instance that this connection connects to.

See the Slackdocumentation for a detailed explanation of these fields. The Connections Details window contains the following fields:

Field	Description
Name	Name for the Slack connection that you are creating.
Description	A short description of the connection.
Client ID	The Client ID is available in the App Credentials on the Slack API Applications page. For more information, see Slack Documentation. The client ID and the client secret enable the connector to securely access the Slack API.
Client Secret	The Client Secret is available in the App Credentials on the Slack API Applications page. For more information, see Slack Documentation. The client ID and the client secret enable the connector to access the Slack API. This is confidential and should not be shared with anybody.
