Stopping an App
When you stop a Data replication app, TIBCO Cloud™ Integration - Connect does the following:
- Cloud sends a message to the agent running the app.
- When the operation that is running completes, such as querying the Source or creating a record in the Target, the next operation checks for messages from the Cloud before starting. If there is a stop message, the job ends.
- The agent sends the execution history to the Cloud with the date and time of the stop.
- An email is sent to the user who stopped the app.
When you stop an On schedule app, TIBCO Cloud™ Integration - Connect does the following:
- Cloud sends a message to the agent running the app.
- When the flow that is running finishes with the current record and returns to the top of the flow to get the next record, it checks for messages from the Cloud. If there is a stop message, the job ends.
- The agent sends the execution history to the Cloud with the date and time of the stop.
- An email is sent to the user who stopped the app.
Note: If a flow in the app contains a Wait block, the app does not stop until the entire wait time configured in the block has elapsed and all operation blocks have completed for the record being processed.
Apps List
Note: Applies only to On schedule apps or Data replication apps.
- Select Apps from the menu bar to display the Apps list.
- Hover over the app you want to stop.
- Select Stop. TIBCO Cloud™ Integration - Connect sends an email confirming that the app was stopped.
Note: The Stop option is only available for apps that are running.
Depending on the size of the current entity, the app may not stop immediately.
The next time the app runs, it restarts the entire service.
