Testing Connections
Whenever you create a connection or modify an existing connection, you need to ensure that the connection is working before you can save it.
After you enter or change the connection parameters on the Edit Connection dialog, select Test. TIBCO Cloud™ Integration - Connect tries to connect to the selected datastore.
If you modify the connection parameters and select OK without testing the connection, TIBCO Cloud™ Integration - Connect tests it automatically. If you make no changes on the Edit Connection dialog, when you select OK the dialog closes and TIBCO Cloud™ Integration - Connect does not test the connection.
Note: You can only test your connections using active agents. If the agent is not active, the test fails.
- If the connection test is successful, you can save your connection parameters and continue.
- If the connection test fails, an error message displays. Correct the parameters, and select Test again.
Note: If your Organization has multiple agents, select the agent to test against and select Test. Be sure to test the connection with any agents used in apps that include this connection.
