Application Types and Endpoints

Applications developed in TIBCO Business Studio can be optionally pushed to the TIBCO Cloud Integration such that they can be accessed from its web user interface.

The following types of applications can be pushed to the cloud:

REST Applications with Endpoints

After you run the application in TIBCO Business Studio, type lendpoints at the prompt to access the REST application endpoint as follows:



You can copy the endpoint and paste it into a browser's address box to retrieve the response in XML format.

When you push this application to the TIBCO Cloud Integration environment, the endpoint appears as follows on its web user interface:

Clicking on the Endpoint link exposes the endpoint and you can copy the endpoint by clicking on the Copy button.

Clicking on the application name takes you to the application details page:

You can view or copy the endpoint URL to your clipboard and add the Resource Service Path to the URL, for example, https://integration.cloud.tibcoapps.com/242ac110002-15456f5777c-48/Books/books. Alternatively, you can download the Swagger file for the endpoint by clicking the down arrow button as shown above. Use the URL to the Swagger file to create a REST reference with which you can invoke the service.

SOAP Applications with Endpoints

SOAP applications created in TIBCO Business Studio can be pushed to the TIBCO Cloud Integration environment. In TIBCO Business Studio, you obtain its endpoint as follows:



When pushed to the TIBCO Cloud Integration environment, it appears as follows on its web user interface:



When you click on the application name, it takes you to its application details page:



Applications with Raw HTTP Endpoints

Applications created using raw HTTP endpoints appear as follows in TIBCO Business Studio:



Note: If you did not specify the Context Path or the Path Spec in the configuration, the Endpoint URL will only contain the port information. For example, in the above example the Endpoint URL will be http://localhost:8080.

When this application is pushed to the cloud, the application endpoint appears as follows in the TIBCO Cloud Integration web user interface:



If you click the application name link, it opens the application details page as follows:



Applications without Endpoints

When you push an application that does not have endpoints, it appears as follows in the web user interface of TIBCO Cloud Integration:



The Endpoints link does not appear and when you click on the application name to open the application details page, it appears as follows:



You can click on the Log link to see the application logs.
