Restarting A Connect On-Premise Agent
Use the Restart menu options on the Agents page to stop and restart a Connect on-premise agent without having to go to the Windows Services window. Only Admins can restart an agent. Connect cloud agents cannot be restarted from the Agents page.
To access the Agents page:
- From the menu, select Environment & Tools.
- Under Environment Settings, select Agents to display the Agents page.
There are two restart options on the Agent menu for each Connect on-premise agent:
- Restart Now — Interrupts any apps that are running and then restarts the agent. Interrupting running apps may result in errors. See Viewing Execution History for information on locating app errors. See App Peek Execution History.
- Restart Later — Restarts the agent after any apps that are currently running have completed. Apps are paused if they are scheduled or selected to start after this Restart option is selected.
