VPN Connections Page
Use the VPN Connections page to add, configure, and manage VPN connections. A VPN connection defines the connectivity settings and credentials required to enable a VPN connection to your on-premise VPN server. After creating a connection, you can then attach it to an app, and the app can connect to on-premise TCP services with the VPN.
If you have not created any connections and the page is empty, click the Cisco or Juniper tile to create a connection.
If your account is part of multiple organizations, you are prompted to choose an organization when you log in. If you select the organization where you are just a member, you can create your own VPN connections there but cannot see the VPN connections created by the owner of that organization.
VPN connections are listed in the left column:
- Click a VPN connection to select and display it in the right column.
- Click + Add in the top of the left column to create a connection. This opens a dialog prompting for the VPN connection properties listed below. Click Save to save the connection's changes, or Cancel to revert changes.
- Use the Find box at the top of the VPN connection list to search all existing VPN connections.
The selected VPN connection is shown in the right column:
- Click Edit to change the VPN's properties. Each VPN connection has the following properties:
Properties Description Connection name The name of the VPN connection. Server URL The URL for your on-premise VPN server. User name The user name to log in to your VPN server. Password The password to log in to your VPN server. User group (optional) An optional user group for your VPN login. Authentication group (optional) An optional authentication group for your VPN. Protocol Either Cisco AnyConnect or Juniper Network Connect. Click Save to save any of the above changes, or Cancel to revert changes.
- Click Delete to the right of a VPN connection name to delete the connection. A confirmation dialog asks you to confirm the deletion.Note: If you delete a VPN connection that is in use, apps continue to use the connection until they are restarted.
