App Details Page

The App Details page displays information about a TIBCO Cloud™ Integration remote or cloud app. Use this page to view, monitor, or change your app.

The following items are shown for the selected app:

Item

Description

< Returns to the Apps page.
App Category An icon indicating the app type. App types are TIBCO BusinessWorks™ App, TIBCO Flogo® App, Node.js App, or TIBCO Cloud™ Integration - Connect.
App Name The app's name. To rename an app, click the app name and enter a new name.
Read-Only Indicates that the app is read-only for the current user.
Owner The app's current owner. This is the agent name for remote apps.
Endpoint Visibility If the app's endpoints are public or TIBCO Cloud™ Mesh. Click the icon to toggle the visibility. You are asked to confirm the change.
Tags Click to see tags that have been added to the app, and add, edit, or delete tags. See Using App Tags for more details.

Marketplace

Provides options for making this an asset in the Marketplace and updating that asset. Options include:

  • Add Marketplace listing - Adds this app to the Marketplace for other users to access.
  • Marketplace - Provides a drop-down menu with options to edit app details in the Marketplace or upgrade the contents of the app in the Marketplace.
Last Modified The date when the app was last modified.
Creator The user who originally created the app. This is the agent name for remote apps.
Deployment Stage Indicates whether the app is in the draft or live stage. This is not applicable for remote apps.
Description A text description of the app. Click to enter a new description.
Instances The number of required app instances. Hover over the number of instances. When the arrows display, use them to change the required number of instances. This is not applicable for TIBCO Cloud Integration - Connect apps. Only one instance of a TIBCO Cloud Integration - Connect app can run at a time.
Status Indicates whether the app is running, stopped, not pushed, ready, incomplete, or has agent issues, or an agent heartbeat failure. For apps that support multiple instances, the Status shows when an app is scaling. It displays a shortcut icon to open a pane containing error information if there was a deployment error during app start. If an app is running but failed to scale last time, the running status shows a red dot in the upper right corner. If an app failed with data errors during a run.
Note: For remote apps, the name, description, endpoint visibility, and instances are not editable.

Shortcut Menu Items

The shortcut menu () contains the following items:

Request Agent Logs Creates and downloads a zip file of Agent Logs for the Agent assigned to the app. Depending on your browser settings, TIBCO Cloud™ Integration saves the file to your default downloads location or prompts you to save the file. For TIBCO Cloud Integration - Connect apps only.
Set deployment stage Changes the deployment stage of an app to live or draft.
Copy Makes a copy of an app.
Replace Updates an app with another app in your organization.
Change owner Changes the ownership of an app.
Set endpoint visibility Sets the endpoint visibility of an app to public or TIBCO Cloud Mesh.

Tabs

The tabs displayed on the App Details page vary by app type. Review the following table for a list of the tabs available for each app type. Remote apps are apps that do not run in the TIBCO Cloud™. Cloud apps do run in the TIBCO Cloud™. Note that in some cases tabs display for an app but do not contain any data.

Processes Tab

Displays a read-only static tree view of all processes deployed. See Viewing Implementation Processes for more details.

Flows Tab

Displays the Flows in a TIBCO Cloud Integration - Connect or TIBCO Flogo® app. The flows are editable. See the TIBCO Cloud Integration - Connect or documentation for more details on creating and editing flows.

Endpoints Tab

Displays a list of an app's endpoint URLs for TIBCO BusinessWorks, , and Node.js cloud apps. This tab contains the following controls for each endpoint:

Description

Service name and Description The service name is initially based on the API specification's info.title. Description is based on the API specification's info.description. After pushing the app, click the name or description to enter a new value. Note that this does not change the API specification, and repushing or copying the app reverts the name and description to the original value.

Copy URL

Copies the app endpoint URL to the clipboard. This is available for public endpoints only.
Test Displays the contents of the endpoint in Swagger in a pane within this tab. You can click methods to expand them and use the Try it out button to test the endpoints. This is available for public endpoints only.
Publish to API Management Publishes an app's endpoint to TIBCO Cloud™ API Management, to use TIBCO Cloud API Management's features for API management on that endpoint.
Download Spec Available on the shortcut menu. Downloads the endpoint API in JSON format.
Copy Spec URL Available on the shortcut menu. Copies the API specification URL to the clipboard.

Monitoring Tab

Displays performance metrics such as CPU and memory usage, network throughput, and up-time for TIBCO BusinessWorks, , and Node.js cloud and remote apps. Select a time range to view historical metrics. See Viewing App Monitoring Details for more details.

Environment Controls Tab

Contains subtabs for Application variables and Engine variables, which display the current values of app properties for TIBCO BusinessWorks, , and Node.js cloud apps. You can modify values to late-bind new property values for the app, or reset them to their default values. See Configuring App Variables for more details. Also contains subtabs for VPN Connections and Hybrid Connectivity.

Logs Tab

Displays logs for your TIBCO BusinessWorks, , and Node.js cloud apps. View logs in a scrolling real-time display, or select a time range to view historical logs. You can also download logs. See Viewing Logs for more details.

History Tab

Displays a history of events associated with your TIBCO BusinessWorks, , and Node.js cloud apps. This tab displays past events such as when an app was pushed, scaled, or updated. It also displays events that failed, and the duration of each event. Use the search control to search events, and click the Raw and Table controls to change the appearance of displayed events. See Viewing App History for more details.

Connections Tab

Displays the Connections used in TIBCO Cloud Integration - Connect On schedule or On event apps to communicate with source and target datastores.

Schedule Tab

Displays a schedule that controls when to run the associated TIBCO Cloud Integration - Connect Data replication or On schedule app. You can modify the schedule for the app from this tab or set it to on demand to run the app manually as needed.

Execution History Tab

Displays the history and associated statistics for your app executions including whether they were successful and the number of records processed, failed, and pending. This tab updates in real time as the app runs allowing you to see its progress. You can reprocess failed records for TIBCO Cloud Integration - Connect On schedule apps from this tab. This tab also displays for TIBCO BusinessWorks remote apps. See Viewing Execution History for a TIBCO BusinessWorks™ App.
